Home Energy Efficiency Rating System (CHEERS). CHEERS, is
a state-wide non-profit organization dedicated to promoting
energy efficiency. CHEERS has been an Arch subscriber since
1995.
Objective: CHEERS needed
a menu driven telephone system that would enable a high volume
of callers to dial a toll-free number, listen to a selection
of choices, select the appropriate response and then to hear
additional choices. The challenges were that the system needed
to play a conditional response based upon the callers input,
CHEERS needed the ability to change that response in real
time (without disconnecting service) and for the data to be
delivered via FTP to a corporate headquarters in a usable
format.
